Here at Cuddle Me Keepsakes, I take your privacy very seriously. Information you provide to me and how it is used

The personal information collected by Cuddle Me Keepsakes is limited to what you provide to me via the following channels:

• Filling in my contact form: I request your first name and email address when sending an enquiry, which is transferred securely to me via email. This data is used only for responding to your enquiry and is only stored until your enquiry has been completed.
• Filling in my order form: when placing an order, I request your name, email address, postal address, phone number and any personalisation details for your keepsakes (this may include name, date of birth, time of birth and birth weight). This data is transferred securely to me via email and is used purely to facilitate your order and to keep in contact whilst your keepsake is being created. I store these details for 6 years for HMRC and accounting purposes.
• Sending me a direct email enquiry: any personal data you send to me in a direct email will be stored in my secure email system and will only be used to process your enquiry or order.
• Signing up to my newsletter (Mailchimp): I store your name, email address and preferences in Mailchimp (https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/). I only access this data for the purpose of sending out my newsletter and viewing associated statistics. I do not transfer or store this data outside of Mailchimp.
• Contacting me via the Cuddle Me Keepsakes social media channels (Facebook and Instagram): any personal data you send to me in a private message via the Cuddle Me Keepsakes social media channels will only be used to process your enquiry or order. I would advise never to post personal information on a social channel where It may be visible to other users.

Information automatically collected and how it is used

• Google Analytics collects anonymous IP data for monitoring visitor behaviour on the Cuddle Me Keepsakes website. This usage data may include your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information on timing, frequency and pattern of your service use. This data is used for monitoring and improving my website and services.
• Website security software keeps my website safe from hacking attempts by processing anonymous IP data.

I do not collect data from any other source.

I take photographs of all completed keepsakes and may share these photos on either, or all, of the following channels: Cuddle Me Keepsakes website, Facebook Page or Instagram account. I will always ensure that any personalisation on the keepsake is NOT visible when posting to these channels.

Cuddle Me Keepsakes only uses essential cookies and anonymous web analytics cookies to evaluate how visitors use the site. The data is used for internal purposes only and is anonymous.

Providing your personal data to third parties

I solely manage all areas of Cuddle Me Keepsakes so there is no requirement for me to share your data with any third party except for Royal Mail, Hermes or DPD so that your completed keepsake(s) may be delivered back to you. The only information I share for this purpose is name and address.

Keeping your data secure

I have put in place appropriate measures to ensure your data is stored securely. All personal data I hold is stored on a secure drive that is password protected and can only be accessed by myself. All paper order forms and invoices are stored for a minimum of six years for accounting purposes. All digital correspondence is held for as long as required to process your order.
