The Cuddle Me Keepsakes ‘End of an Era Collection’ transforms sentimental clothing in to beloved keepsakes to remind you of one chapter closing and the next one just beginning.
Whether that be school uniform, to mark the transition from primary to secondary school, or work uniform you’ve worn for most of your adult life and are now hanging up to enjoy your well deserved retirement. Maybe you have a dance costume that reminds you of the win you trained so hard for, football kits from the season your team won the league, Cabin Crew uniform from your high flying days or gig t-shirts from your favourite band…. the possibilities are endless!

The Memory animals within the collection come complete with safety eyes and co-ordinating ribbon. Memory Bear, Bunny and Unicorn also include round wooden buttons at the arms and leg joints. Please note, they should be surface washed only with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry.
Cuddle Blankets are bordered and backed in a super soft cuddly fleece, available in a range of colours. Luxury Blankets are bordered and backed in a premium super soft dimple fleece and filled with thick quality wadding for extra warmth and comfort. Please advise when ordering which colour fleece you would like, otherwise I will choose a colour to co-ordinate with the clothing you've provided. Both blankets can be washed on a delicate cycle or by hand. Always wash dark colours separately and keep away from fire. Do not tumble dry.
WARNING: Memory Bears are keepsakes only and not a toy. As these keepsakes are made from treasured clothing provided by you, they cannot be CE tested and are therefore not suitable for persons under 14 years of age. The filling of the animals is 100% polyester and complies with British Standards BS5852, and safety eyes are always used.
*Memory Bear, Bunny, Lion & Unicorn are made using a pattern by Funky Friends Factory. Memory Elephant is made using a pattern by Huggable Patterns
Prices start from £5 for one word/ name; £8 for two lines and £10 for a small verse or embroidery over two footpads.
For the Memory Animals I would recommend sending at least two items of adult's clothing. Please send additional items if you would like less repetition of pattern on your keepsake.
For a keepsake cushion I would recommend sending 2 - 4 items of adult's clothing.
Number of items required for blankets:
Each Memory Animal or Blanket created will vary vastly depending on the clothing you provide. When choosing clothing to provide for your keepsake think about how the items look together. I stabilise each piece of clothing with interfacing when making ALL of my keepsakes, which ensures a high quality finish and therefore almost any fabric can be used. However, please bear in mind that anything too thick may not sit so nicely against cotton and jersey and will not result in such a clean, flat seam finish. Fabric that doesn’t work well includes leather, swimwear and chunky knitwear.
I would always recommend sending at least one plainer item of clothing as I find these work best on faces and as the background for personalised embroidery.
If I can’t use an item you’ve provided, I’ll let you know and return it with your finished keepsake. If you’re unsure of a certain item please do not hesitate to contact me before sending your clothes.
To order, simply fill in the order form, including any personalisation and special requests. I will then email a confirmation of your order together with an order number and details of sending your clothes to Cuddle Me HQ. If the order form is showing as ‘Fully Booked’ please do sign up to the newsletter to be the first to know when I re-open for new orders.
At the time of order I will let you know which month has been allocated for your keepsake to be made. I will always endeavour to return your completed keepsake by the end of this allocated month (providing clothing and payment have been received on time as per your order confirmation).
I purposely don’t operate an online shop as I like to have a conversation with you when ordering such a personalised cherished item.
All items dispatched by Cuddle Me Keepsakes are delivered by Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’ or ‘Tracked 48’, depending on your chosen preference. I am unable to accept responsibility for items once they have been dispatched.
Postage and packing is advised on your invoice depending on your chosen service and in line with Royal Mail’s standard pricing (starting from £4.74 for one item). For multiple items I will provide a quote for you when ordering. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
Once your Keepsake has been lovingly packaged, I will email you to let you know it's on it's way back to it's forever home, so you know to expect it.
