I can’t believe it’s just 5 sleeps until Christmas! 🎄 I hope you’ve all been able to find a little time for some relaxing moments between the festive chaos that is December.

It’s been another busy year here at Cuddle Me HQ and I can’t thank you all enough for trusting me to make your precious keepsakes and memory bears, it really means the world 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ll be re-opening for new orders next month (January) so do keep your eyes peeled on your emails in the new year when I’ll announce the date and provide further details on how to reserve your spot.

🤍New collection🤍 Heirloom by Cuddle Me Keepsakes🤍

I’m so pleased to (finally) be sharing this new collection of keepsakes with you 🧸 Introducing ‘Heirloom by Cuddle Me Keepsakes’, a new special collection of handmade traditional teddy bears incorporating your most treasured items of clothing to be cherished for generations.

Handmade from a super soft cuddle plush (available in a range of colours), each Heirloom Friend is made using traditional teddy-bear-making techniques and are perfect if you have a limited number of treasured clothing items, even as few as one, or simply love the more traditional classic teddy bear design.

Each Heirloom Friend is five-way jointed, feature black glass eyes and a hand embroidered nose, are finished with a beautiful hand-dyed silk ribbon and are presented in their very own dust bag🤍

The collection currently includes Heirloom Bear 🧸and Heirloom Bunny 🐰 but watch this space for a new Heirloom Friend joining the collection soon…

If you already have a space for your keepsake to be made and would like to change to an Heirloom Friend, please just pop me a message and (providing I haven’t begun working on your keepsake) I can arrange this.

It continues to blow my mind how all you lovely people wait so patiently for me to open, I really am so grateful! 🤍

I know I’ve said it before, but I’ve never set out to make the most keepsakes and have a big ‘production line’, feeling like I’m rushing one ready to start the next. It’s just me, in my happy place each evening, working around looking after a young family, and I’m so sorry to those of you who I couldn’t offer a space to this time, but I am always more than happy to recommend other keepsake makers 😌

Hello! Wow, it’s been a while and how is it already mid-August!! I hope you’re all enjoying the ‘summer’ - I feel we definitely need some ☀️ back!

I know I’ve been much quieter than even usual 😉 but I’m still here sewing away 🧵🪡 whilst enjoying lots of fun and quality time with the three little cuddlies these holidays. We’re definitely enjoying things being a little more ‘normal’ and getting out more!

In other news, It’s #worldelephantday today 🐘 so I couldn’t let it pass without posting some of the beautiful Cuddle Me Keepsakes elephants that have been heading back to their forever homes, to help celebrate and spread a little awareness 🐘

These handsome bears are now back in their forever homes for twin brothers Henry and Ralph, full of special memories of their first year 🧸 🧸

Henry and Ralph’s Mummy gave me free reign to design and create these special bears, so I thought it would be lovely to make them co-ordinating but with little touches of differences. I also love that they include fabric from the twins’ feeding pillow - as their Mummy said, they spent a lot of time on there, especially in the early days! As always, I’m so grateful to be trusted with your treasured clothing 💙

Package a keepsake with me!

Does anyone else roll their eyes when their kids are watching clips on YouTube of other kids opening surprise eggs? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Well it seems I have the opposite obsession - I love watching small business reels of their lovely products being beautifully packaged! So if you share my love, hopefully you’ll enjoy packaging this keepsake with me 😉

I always seem to be tinkering with my packaging and always strive to ensure it’s environmentally friendly. Each keepsake comes in a protective cotton dust bag to keep it safe and snug when not on display, and is then carefully packaged with 100% recycled white tissue paper. Even the branded stickers I use are fully recyclable and biodegradable thanks to the fabulous @nellyandted. All tied together with a twine ribbon and a couple of sprigs of lavender to keep your keepsake fresh for the journey home 💐 Hopefully it feels as special when you receive it as all the memories held inside 🤍
